AssessAll Sales Excellence
Selling, measured by what
the candidate would actually do.
29 assessments and 588 scored situations across four bands — from first-year habits to what a first-line sales manager owns. Options score on a gradient with a written reason attached to each one, and an answer that closes the deal dishonestly scores zero.
What is different about this bank
Six statements about how the items were made, each of which is a thing that was done rather than a claim about what the scores predict. We have not run criterion or normative studies on this suite, and we do not describe it as though we had.
Written here, from nothing
Every scenario, option and score in the bank was authored for AssessAll. No item is adapted from a published instrument, and the suite is not affiliated with or derived from any third-party test.
Partial credit, with the reason attached
Options score on a 0–3 gradient rather than right or wrong, because a near-right answer is not a wrong one. Every option carries a written reason for the score it receives — including the ones that lose marks.
Ethics scored, not decorated
Where an option is a mis-sell, an over-promise or a concealed cost, it scores zero even when it closes the deal. The ethics assessment includes pressure applied by the candidate's own manager.
No branded methodology names
Behaviours are described generically — establishing budget, authority, need and timing, for example — never as somebody's trademarked acronym, in item text, options, rationale or titles.
Option-length cueing checked across the bank
On the first pass the keyed option was the longest option in 68% of items against a 25% chance baseline, averaging 1.34x the length of its distractors — a candidate could have scored well by picking the longest option without reading the scenario. The justification was moved into the rationale, where the candidate never sees it, and thin distractors were given equal concreteness. The bank now sits at 26.3% longest-keyed and a 1.01 length ratio, and the key is genuinely the shortest option about as often as it is the longest.
Checked centrally, not file by file
The cue defect above was invisible inside any single file and only appeared when all 29 were measured together. Every quality pass now runs across the whole bank as well as per file, and both directions of the length check are enforced.
Four bands, four prices
Business buyers pay in credits per assessment taken; individuals pay in rupees on the store. One price per band — nothing on this page is metered by the minute or billed per seat.

Live spoken role-plays
Coming soonThree spoken scenarios on the conversation engine, where the buyer answers back — stalls, deflects, reopens price, and changes with how the seller handles them. They are written and held back until the engine's first live product has run clean. 20 credits each, for business buyers only, and not on sale today. They cannot be bought from this page and there is nothing to join.
Discovery call
A first call with an operations director who is warm, rushed and agreeable to the point of being useless. She agrees with whatever framing she is offered and gives generalities that sound like answers. She becomes specific only for a seller who asks a second question about her first answer.
Price pushback
A buyer who rates the product and says it costs too much. Price is the shortest sentence that ends a conversation he does not want to have; the real constraint is his approval limit and a finance director who has already turned him down twice. He drops the price framing for a seller who asks how the decision actually gets made.
Renewal at risk
A three-year customer six weeks from renewal who has already chosen a replacement and has not said so. He is courteous throughout, and the warmth is the disguise — a candidate who reads his tone as a reading of the account leaves the call feeling it went well. He answers a direct question honestly, and is quietly relieved to be asked one.
Assessing a sales team rather than one seller?
Business buyers run the suite on credits, assign by role, and get every result against the same competencies — so a territory, a channel team and a first-line manager can be read on one page. Sales capability, band by band, is set out on the sales hiring and capability page.
