Taking an assessment
It says the assessment is in progress on another device
Sign in with your own account and reopen it — signing in always lets you continue on the device in front of you.
For fairness, an assessment in progress is tied to the browser it was started in — that stops a link being passed around while someone is mid-test.
If you started on your phone and want to switch to a laptop (or your browser cleared its data), just sign in to your AssessAll account on the new device and open the assessment again from Assessments → Shared with my organisation. Being signed in as the owner of the attempt is stronger proof than the browser itself, so you will be let straight through.
If you are still blocked:
- Make sure you are signed in with the same email address your organisation invited.
- Try the same browser you began in, if it is still available.
- Otherwise ask your HR contact — they can arrange a fresh attempt.
