Can I control whether participants see their own reports?

Yes. They see them immediately by default; switch on “Hold reports until we release them” at launch and you decide when — for the whole group or one person at a time.

This is a setting on the launch screen, and it applies to everything you assign — free, paid, store or customised.

Default: participants see their own report as soon as scoring finishes. That is deliberate — a report the person can act on is usually the point.

If you want to debrief first, switch on Hold reports until we release them when you launch. Then:

  • You see every report immediately, as normal.
  • The participant sees that their assessment is complete and their report is pending release. No report email goes out while it is held.
  • When you are ready, use Release reports on the programme to release the whole cohort at once — or release one person early from their row under People.
Hiring is the common case for holding: you shortlist internally, then share feedback in your own words. Development programmes usually do better released, so people can read their profile before the debrief session.
