Every option is a picture, and only one rule separates them
You are shown a 3x3 grid of figures with one cell missing, or a row of five panels that changes step by step, or a set of figures where one does not belong. Shapes rotate, counts climb, shading alternates, elements combine or cancel. Your job is to work out which rule or rules govern the set and choose the drawn option that fits. There is no text to read and no vocabulary to know, so the 24 items measure how you reason about pattern rather than how well you read English. The whole sitting runs to about 22 minutes on a per-item timer.
The bank is original and machine-constructed: each item's rule is generated, its key is verified by construction, and every distractor is built by perturbing exactly one rule, so the wrong options are close enough to be tempting but never accidentally correct. Scoring is a plain keyed option per item. Your response time on each figure is recorded, but it does not change your score. No third-party instrument is copied or licensed, and the item pool stays closed so a solver cannot be memorised.
The report goes further than a total. It scores Inductive Reasoning and Abstract & Pattern Reasoning separately, places each in a band from Emerging to Exceptional with a short coaching interpretation, writes a narrative built from your own pattern of answers, and walks you back through every item with the governing rule spelt out. Where you slipped, you see which transformation you missed — rotation, count, shading or combination — not just a red cross.
