Cognitive Agility & Learning PotentialMore questions than most people finish, and rules that change mid-series — learning speed, measured directly.

Cognitive Agility & Learning Potential measures how quickly you discover an unfamiliar rule, adjust when it changes and switch between tasks. Twenty-four text-only items in 22 minutes, deliberately more than most candidates complete. Three banded competencies, a speed reading and every rule explained.

Built so that finishing is not the point — accuracy under pressure is

A machine turns one number into another three times and you must infer the rule and apply it to a fourth. A series alternates between two rules and the question is which rule is due next. Two named operations — sum the digits, multiply the digits — must be applied in a stated order to four numbers and the results totalled. Five numbers share a property that the sixth lacks. Nothing is figural, nothing needs vocabulary: letters, numbers and short words carry every item, so the test measures rule discovery and task switching rather than familiarity with a picture format.

All patterns are original text-only constructions, so no image bank is imitated and the items render identically on every device. There are more items than most candidates finish, on purpose: the measure is how accurately you work under time pressure, not whether you reach the end, and the report says so. Keys are verified and every rule is stated in the explanation. Distractors are the outputs of the nearest wrong rule — the one that fits two of the three examples — so a half-inferred rule reliably lands on a wrong option rather than a lucky one.

The report scores Abstract Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Cognitive Speed separately, banded from Emerging to Exceptional with coaching interpretations, and the AI-written narrative reads the three together as a picture of how you learn: fast and rough, slow and exact, or agile across both. The question-by-question review states every rule, including for items you did not reach, so the whole set becomes practice material. The growth plan prioritises the lowest band and names the item types to drill.

What you walk away with

A learning-speed profile

Abstract Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Cognitive Speed on one radar, with an interpretation of what the shape means for picking up unfamiliar systems, tools and processes — the question a hiring manager is really asking about any level of hire.

Honest about the clock

The narrative separates items answered wrongly from items never reached and says which cost you more. Because the test is designed to outrun most candidates, unreached items are read as a pacing signal, not as failure.

Every rule stated, reached or not

The review explains all 24 rules — the machine's transformation, the alternating series, the odd-one-out property — so the items you never saw under time pressure become the practice set for your next attempt.

A growth plan for agility

Built from your lowest competency, the plan sets out which item types to drill and how to switch rules without carrying the last one forward, then points to the deeper abstract and logical tests in the catalogue when the bands are Strong.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Cognitive Agility & Learning Potential test measure?

How quickly you discover an unfamiliar rule from examples, adjust when the rule changes mid-series, and switch between tasks without carrying the last rule forward. Twenty-four text-only items in 22 minutes — deliberately more than most candidates finish — so the measure is accuracy under time pressure. It suits candidates at any level judged on potential rather than experience, career-switchers, and teams hiring for roles where the work keeps changing.

If I cannot finish, does that count against me?

Not in the way you might expect. The test is designed to outrun most candidates, and the report reads unreached items as a pacing signal separate from wrong answers. Scoring uses verified keys with distractors built from the nearest wrong rule, rolling into three banded competencies — Abstract Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Cognitive Speed — and an overall 0–100 score. The bands describe your current profile, not a cut-off.

How long does it take and what is in the report?

Twenty-two minutes for 24 items in one sitting. Your report is generated immediately from your responses: overall banded score, a three-competency radar and banded bars with coaching interpretations, an AI-written narrative separating errors from pacing, strengths and development areas, a prioritised growth plan and a question-by-question review stating the rule for every item, reached or not. The price includes everything; nothing further to unlock.

How do hiring and L&D teams use this report?

Hiring teams use the three bands as a like-for-like signal of learning speed across candidates with different backgrounds, which matters most for roles where the tools or rules will change. L&D teams use it to identify staff for accelerated programmes and to frame a development conversation around the growth plan. Individuals use the review as a practice set and retake after drilling the item types the plan names.

Is the test fair for candidates outside India, and how is it priced?

Yes. Items use only letters, numbers and short common words, with no cultural, currency or regional content, and no figural material that favours one screen or device. Bands describe performance rather than rank against a national reference group, so the report reads the same in any market. The test is priced in INR and USD, with the live price shown on this page.
