A short statement describes a retailer that fitted rooftop solar at most of its stores, reports lower bills at those stores and plans to cover the rest subject to surveys, with a few roofs found unsuitable. Then come the claims: that a majority of stores had a particular roof condition; that most of a transport system's new riders came from buses; that a third of a firm's staff kept a five-day week. Each must be marked true, false or undeterminable from the text alone. Argument items follow — which sentence is opinion, which conclusion rests on survivors, which correlation is being sold as a cause.

The keys have been audited so that Cannot Say is used only where the passage is genuinely silent — never as a hedge — and True is used only where the text supports the claim, not where a reasonable person would believe it.
