AssessAll Certified · Customer Experience

Prove you can turn a bad customer moment around.
One sitting, verified for 24 months.

What is measured

Five pillars, one sitting.

Weighted to what employers actually screen for. Live Service Recovery carries the most weight, and a Distinction cannot be earned without it — a credential in customer experience is not carried by multiple-choice items alone.

30%
Live Service Recovery

A live call with a customer who has a real grievance — a double charge, a dead service, a broken promise. Own it, tell the truth, fix what you can, close cleanly.

20%
Listening & Case Comprehension

Four short customer recordings, each played once: a complaint voicemail, a handover from a colleague, a confused caller, a policy briefing. Catch what matters.

15%
Written Customer Responses

Two written tasks: a reply to a formal complaint, and a live-chat response to a customer who is about to leave.

15%
Spoken Empathy & Clarity

Three spoken tasks of about a minute: deliver bad news about a refund, explain a policy in plain words, leave a callback voicemail. Scored on clarity and content — never on accent.

20%
Service Judgement & Boundaries

Six service moments — a customer who wants a promise you cannot make, a request for someone else's data, a colleague's mistake, a caller who threatens to leave. Rate how effective each of four responses would be. Placating lies score zero.

Levels

Level cuts are design priors and will be recalibrated after the first 200 sittings. All 24-month certificates are verifiable at a public link and issued as signed Open Badges 3.0 credentials.

The sitting

35 minutes, at home, proctored.

  1. 1Mic and camera check (two minutes)
  2. 2Case listening — four recordings, played once
  3. 3Three spoken tasks: bad news, a plain-words policy, a callback
  4. 4Live service-recovery call with a customer who has a real grievance
  5. 5Two written tasks: a complaint reply and a live-chat save
  6. 6Service judgement — six situations, rate each response
  7. 7Scored within hours. Report immediately; certificate on pass (borderline sittings get a human look first).

Proctoring: Webcam AI. An identity photo is taken before you start and your webcam captures a small number of photos during the sitting, reviewed automatically for a second person or an empty seat. Browser activity is recorded.

Who it is for: Contact-centre, support, hospitality and front-line service professionals — and graduates entering them — who want proof of how they handle customers, not a course certificate.

For employers

Verify in seconds. See what matters, nothing more.

Scan the QR on a certificate or open the verification link: level, issue date, validity, revocation status and the five-pillar profile as bands. The credential is a signed W3C Verifiable Credential (Open Badges 3.0), checkable against AssessAll's published key. Employers see the level and a five-pillar band profile — never the call recordings, never the raw scores.

Hiring at volume? The same sitting is available to organisations through the AssessAll catalogue, employer-paid, with the employer view of the report. Talk to us about accepting AssessAll Certified in your screening.

Questions candidates ask

What does the credential certify?

That you can perform in customer experience to a stated level — live service recovery, listening & case comprehension, written customer responses, spoken empathy & clarity, service judgement & boundaries — measured in one proctored sitting that includes a live role-play with an AI counterpart. Spoken sections score clarity and content, never accent.

How long is the sitting and what do I need?

About 35 minutes (40 allowed), sequential. A quiet room, a laptop or phone with a working microphone and webcam, and a stable connection. The sitting is proctored (tier 2): an identity photo, a small number of webcam photos reviewed automatically, and browser activity checks.

What are the levels?

Distinction (composite 85+, with Live Service Recovery at least 70), Professional (70–84) and Foundation (55–69). No pillar may fall below 40 for Professional or above. Below 55 is 'not yet certified' — you still receive the full developmental report, and a composite of 45–54 earns one free retake within 14 days.

How do employers verify it?

Every certificate carries a QR code and a public verification link showing the level, issue date, validity and pillar profile as bands. The credential is issued as an Open Badges 3.0 / W3C Verifiable Credential signed by AssessAll, so it can be checked against our published key or added to a digital wallet. Employers never see your transcript, recordings or scores.

How long is it valid, and what about recertification?

24 months from issue. Holders can recertify at half price from 90 days before expiry.

What if I don't pass?

You are 'not yet certified', never 'failed'. Every taker gets the developmental report: the five-pillar profile, what to practise next, and the moments of the role-play that decided the score with coaching notes. Scores of 45–54 get one free retake within 14 days; otherwise a new sitting is a new purchase.
