Checkpoint 2 · From Strategic Thinking to Problem Solving

The second of three checkpoint assessments in your development programme. Part one revisits the Strategic Thinking ground you have just trained on — adapting plans to new evidence, correlation versus causation, root-cause laddering, seeing systems beneath events, second-order ripples, and deciding under pressure — testing whether the judgment transfers to real moments at a test center. Part two establishes your baseline on the Problem Solving territory your next session will cover: separating facts from assumptions, challenging assumptions, divergent thinking, working inside constraints, cognitive biases, and structured cause-and-effect mapping. The final four scenarios require both disciplines at once. 30 questions, 45 minutes. In most scenarios every option is defensible — the scoring rewards the judgment a highly effective test-center leader would show. Answer as you would actually behave, not as a textbook would.
